Realistically, the crashes were far more spread out in the books, with 169 stories being spread out across nearly a century, and I counted only 19 crashes (Counting the foreign engine derailing in Gordon Goes Foreign, Thomas embedding himself in a pile of snow, and Percy running into the lime cart, not counting minor derailments) in the Reverend Awdry's books (I wouldn't know about Christopher's, since I haven't read them all yet), which account for the majority of that time frame. We might be talking about an average of a quarter of a crash a year or less. The TV series escalates that volume significantly. These accidents were the exception, not the rule. They were among the notable events of the railway, and they weren't even the greatest share of the notable events. Also, remember that those crashes actually happened somewhere in real life. Gordon takes the plunge was inevitable. Ironically many accidents that humans were responsible were attributed to the engines, so the only real change for the worst is that you now have TWO coworkers you have to keep tabs on at all times instead of a coworker and an iron horse (which is nearly as demanding). Honestly, Thomas, Percy, Duncan and Sir Handel are the engines I would try to avoid the most. They've caused multiple accidents each out of selfishness and never seem to get any character development. However, I would also be terrified by the prospect of trying to force Gordon to do anything he doesn't want to do, and James would be absolutely insufferable to work with as he's always making fun of the other engines, even for faults which he himself has exhibited in the not-too-distant past. (Henry would be alright, but he's still unpleasant to be around a lot). The thought of a day working with Edward or Peter Sam, however, would be enough to get even the most depressed engineer or fireman out of the bed with a smile on his face each morning.

Does it have to be 30 cm in height, I,d prefer to do it to 20 cm in height. Cause that's closer to the equivalent height of an actual railway series book.

I was completely distracted from the commentary at 6:21 by the music because I kept waiting for the fact that it was a remix of Donald and Douglass's theme to become more obvious. At 6:24 I thought the remix had started in earnest, only to be thrown off by 6:26. Then I heard 6:29 and thought "This time for certain!" Turns out I was just crazy... wait... 7:20?! THERE IT IS! Nice Twin Trouble reference, by the way.

YEEEESS! SCOTLAND! I'm American, and my favorite city in the UK would have to be Edinburgh, but my favorite part of the UK is easily Scotland, which I was the first in my family to visit and which we explored extensively last summer. In fact, we actually visited the Strathspey Railway. Fun fact, I was in love with the Ivatt 2MT Class already, but I had no idea what locomotive I was expecting to come around the corner as I stood on the walkway at Abbey Moore. Imagine my wild rapture when I saw the Ivatt 2MT BR 46512 rounding the corner beyond the platform tender-first!
